Advancing Teaching & Learning in Higher Education 

For more than ten years now, the St. Pölten UAS has been organising conferences with a focus on excellence and innovation in teaching. It is our pleasure to introduce a new concept in 2025: the Academic Development Conference. This new conference format, which will take place for the first time on 27 February 2025, has evolved from our traditional “Day of Teaching and Learning”.

With the new conference format “Academic Development Conference”, we now concentrate more specifically on the needs and interests of teaching/learning experts, instructional designers, curriculum developers, staff members of vice rectorates for teaching, and other specialists who are committed to high quality in teaching.

We intend for the Academic Development Conference to become a forum for establishing international networks to promote teaching and learning in higher education. The objective is to connect experts who shape the future of education through innovative methods and strategic curriculum development. This new conference format offers room for exchanging ideas, promoting collaboration, and inspiring transformative changes in higher education. To expand this room and facilitate international participation, the conference will take place on the Campus St. Pölten all day long and, at the same time, in hybrid form in the morning.
