Advancing Teaching & Learning in Higher Education 

For more than ten years, the UAS St. Pölten has proudly hosted conferences focused on teaching excellence and innovation. In 2025, we are excited to introduce a new concept: the Academic Development Conference. This event, scheduled for February 27, 2025, marks the evolution from our traditional "Tag der Lehre" to a specialized conference dedicated to those at the forefront of educational development. 

Previously, the "Tag der Lehre" was a platform for educators and didactic experts to explore innovative teaching methods and share best practices. Now, with the launch of the Academic Development Conference, we are focusing more specifically on the needs and interests of teaching and learning specialists, instructional designers, curriculum developers, staff in vice-rectorates for teaching and learning, and other professionals passionate about student success. 

To continue providing our internal faculty with a forum for professional exchange on didactic topics, we will also host an internal “Tag für Lehrende”.

The Academic Development Conference aims to be a leading forum for advancing teaching and learning in higher education. It is designed to bring together experts who are shaping the future of education through innovative practices and strategic curriculum design. This new conference format will provide an expanded space for exchanging ideas, fostering collaboration, and inspiring transformative changes in higher education.
